Camphill Community Trust was founded in 1975 with the establishment of Camphill School Rankoromane, a residential primary school for children with special needs, focusing on children with learning difficulties. In 1989 Camphill Community Trust established Motse Wa Badiri with the aim of creating training, employment and community support services for adults who are challenged with a disability. In 1996 Legodimo Trust was established in Otse with the aim of teaching life skills and pre vocational skills to youth who have special needs in order to help them achieve independence. Legodimo Trust became part of Camphill Community Trust in 2004 and is now known as Camphill Legodimo.
In one year, this installation gives a solar yield of 75.76 MWh and is responsible for the avoidance of 26202.60 kilograms of CO2 emissions.
