The owner of the Lagoa Lunar is Mr. Arlindo. The accommodation consists of 10 bedrooms (a double bed and private restrooms) for short stay (tentatively 3 days) guests. Hot water for guests is provided via a kettle electrically heated. The proposed solar hot water system is the first of its kind at Inhambane tourism Province, which is 500 km away from the Capital Maputo. As such, it is seen as a model for the other neighbour guest-houses in the region.
In one year, this installation gives a solar yield of 4.61 MWh and is responsible for the avoidance of 1594.30 kilograms of CO2 emissions.
