About

The NUL Gym facility is owned by National University of Lesotho. This facility is run daily by staff and student representatives. Both staff and students use the facility as per allocated slots per groups. Currently hot water is from a 200 litre electric geyser installed in the roof space above the shower room. The Department of Physics and Electronics is engaged on research aimed at proving the importance of replacing all electric geysers with solar geysers on NUL Campus.

In one year, this installation gives a solar yield of 6.40 MWh and is responsible for the avoidance of 2200.00 kilograms of CO2 emissions.
