Russelstone & Holms, Next To Flats

In 2020 Russellstone & Holms and Friends created an energy partnership which supplies renewable energy projects through ESCo solutions with one of the focal technologies being solar thermal. The company is called RussellStone-Holms (RS-H). The first housing development where this consortium supplies domestic solar thermal water will be at the Next To Flats development which has 38 units of different sizes, as well as a coffee shop and other commercial spaces on the ground floor. This project will be proof of concept for the RS-H ESCo venture. The Next To building currently belongs to the Next To (100% subsidiary of the RussellStone Group), and the flats will be sold to individual owners. This was the reason to construct a centralised, efficient, and independent solar thermal solution. The RussellStone Group intends to construct many more similar housing units and this would result in the multiplication of solar systems and energy efficient buildings, managed and maintained over a 20-year period. In effect guaranteeing a working system for its whole live cycle and high-quality investment.

In one year, this installation gives a solar yield of 74.26 MWh and is responsible for the avoidance of 25682.40 kilograms of CO2 emissions.
