University of the Witwatersrand David Webster Residences

The David Webster dormatories is an existing student residences building, owned by the University of the Witwatersrand. Dr David Webster was an academic and anti-apartheid activist and worked as a senior lecturer at the University of the Witwatersrand. In 1992 the University of the Witwatersrand named a new Hall of Residence which is now home to 336 Wits University Students to Dr Webster’s honour.

In one year, this installation gives a solar yield of 84.97 MWh and is responsible for the avoidance of 29386.65 kilograms of CO2 emissions.
