The Zimbabwe International Trade Fair took place earlier in April this year with the purpose of promoting trade and providing a networking platform for local and foreign participants which would hopefully lead to investment.

SOLTRAIN, the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) and Crano Technology exhibited at the fair, promoting solar thermal heating, cooling and drying, and giving exposure to the SOLTRAIN projects in Zimbabwe.

The target audience for SOLTRAIN’s outreach efforts was colleges, lodges, hotels, hospitals, breweries and other relevant industries and public sector representatives, with the team managing to engage with over 50 individuals interested in benefiting from SOLTRAIN by way of knowledge transfer and the co-funding of solar thermal systems.
