The 2026 SADC Sustainable Energy Week (SADC SEW) is set to take place from 23–27 February 2026 in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. The five-day regional flagship event is convened by the SADC Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (SACREEE) in partnership with the Ministry of Energy and Power Development of Zimbabwe and the SADC Secretariat. Held under the theme “Driving Regional Economic Growth through Clean Energy and Energy Efficiency,” the SADC SEW continues to serve as Southern Africa’s premier annual platform for advancing collaboration, investment, and innovation in sustainable energy.
The Week will convene high-level government officials, SADC Ministers responsible for Energy, private sector leaders, financiers, academia, and development partners. The programme includes plenary sessions, exhibitions, business-to-business meetings, technical presentations, technical site visits, National Energy Compacts & Strategies progress presentations, and new for 2026 a regional Sustainable Energy Week Awards ceremony. A detailed outline of the event programme is available on the official event website www.sadcenergyweek.org
This year’s edition also presents opportunities for sponsorship, participation in the 2026 SEW Awards, the SADC SEW Golf Tournament, and exhibition opportunities for organisations and companies wishing to showcase their products, services, and innovations to a regional audience.
